
Mat, Tower and Reformer classes are offered in four levels.
Essentials
Essentials teaches the principles of Pilates within the Beginning syllabus and helps each individual learn appropriate modifications for their body. The class is slower paced to allow for more explanation of the core system of Joe’s work. These challenging classes are critical to building the strength needed for all other classes.
Essentials/Core
Essentials/Core classes bridge the gap from Essentials to Core. These classes are also beneficial to those Core students who would like to refine their technique or work at a slightly slower pace.
Core
Core classes assume a thorough understanding of the beginning Pilates syllabus. Students should be able to execute those movements safely with minimal explanation and make appropriate modifications as needed. These faster-paced classes introduce the intermediate Pilates syllabus to further develop and challenge each student. Instructor approval is required for this class.
Powerhouse
Powerhouse is the ultimate challenge for the advanced student. This class is fast paced and athletic and requires a strong and healthy body. Powerhouse classes are by invitation only.
