FAQ

Do you say teacher or instructor?

We use both. Our lineage emphasizes the role of a teacher. Your credential is an Instructor Certification, which aligns with studio staffing and insurance language.

How many hours must I attend per week?

Apprentices must attend at least 10 hours per week, including a weekly meeting to remain in good standing. Exceptions to this 45 week module must be approved by Director.

Can I take a private session or a class elsewhere and have it count?

Yes. Private sessions and classes are accepted from other certified studios. They count as your self-study hours.

When I am certified do I get to work at PATC?

Many factors are in play here. We are a small studio. We will hire accordingly based on our needs. In most cases, if you already have your own clients you will be able to continue to teach them at the studio.

Can I workout when the studio is closed?

No. This is a liability issue. You will have access to Momence to see when we are in the studio. Currently, we are open 6 days a week.

Do I get paid when I teach?

In Apprentice Level 2 you may practice teach friends or family a floor fee of $20. You do not get paid.
In Apprentice Level 3, you are paid when you teach a paying client. The Client is charged $50, and you are paid $20.

I want to take more than my allotted 100 classes. How much are additional classes?

Each additional class beyond your apprentice allotment is at a discounted rate of $25.
